Jonah Lee-McNamee (he/him) is a filmmaker and creative producer based on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Sel̓íl̓witulh Nations (“Vancouver, Canada”). His passions include film, food, art, literature, geography, and social issues.
Since 2020, Jonah has directed multiple narrative and documentary films. His filmography includes: “Van City” (Short Documentary, 2022), “Night Market Neighbours” (Short Documentary Series, 2022), “The Stubborn Baker” (Short Documentary Series, 2022-2023), “The Meetup” (Short Film, 2022), and “Samson” (Short Film, 2020). Jonah also works in the film industry as a Script Supervisor and 2nd Assistant Director.
Since 2016, Jonah has worked as a creative producer for a wide variety of clients including CBC, Pacific Screenwriting Program, Vancouver Coastal Health, BC Brain Wellness Program, Wild Whales Vancouver, Aria Beauty, Relaxus Products, brEAThe Kitchen and more.
